Bboy Lyricx, a professional Ghanaian Dancer, dance coach, and choreographer, has left an indelible mark on the dance scene. He’s also the brains behind the Africa Breaking Academy (ABA) and is celebrated worldwide as the pioneer of the “AFROBREAK” movement, seamlessly blending Afro-dance with the fifth element of hip-hop, break dance.

His dedication to Ghana’s street dance culture has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Best Bboy in Ghana at the 2021 Ghana Dance Awards. Not content with local recognition, Bboy Lyrics has embarked on a journey of international Afrobreak Workshop tours and competitions, participating in events like Snipes Battle of the Year (France), judging the Red Bull BBC One Cypher (Nigeria), and conducting Afrobreak workshops in Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso. Additionally, he has taken part in the Warriors Battle International event in Niger.

Bboy Lyricx’s influence extends beyond his own achievements. He is paving the way for the younger generation of aspiring dancers, especially in light of the exciting inclusion of BREAK DANCE as an official sport in the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in France.
